The Ownership Mindset

How you think about your life determines what you own in it.

The Ownership Mindset is a free resource from America's Holding Company — built on the belief that before you can own something financially, you have to own your thinking. How you approach your time, your decisions, your relationships, and your money all determines whether you end up an owner or just another person who paid in and got nothing back.

No course. No paywall. No upsell. Just real thinking from someone who's still on the road, sharing what they're learning as they go.

What this is

Not a tax course. A life operating system.

The Ownership Mindset started as a tax strategy program — the idea that if people understood how money actually works, they'd keep more of it. But the deeper we got into it, the clearer it became: the tax strategy starts upstream, in how you think and how you live.

So that's what this became. A framework for building a life you actually own — financially, mentally, and in every way that matters.

  • How to think about money and time together
  • Goal setting and long-term thinking
  • Commitment and avoiding the shiny object trap
  • Building a positive, resilient mindset
  • Authenticity and showing up as yourself
  • Tax strategy and keeping more of what you earn
  • What ownership really means — in life and in business
The three pillars

Own your mind. Own your money. Own your future.

Everything in the Ownership Mindset connects back to one of three ideas.

Own your mind

Your mindset determines everything downstream. Happiness, commitment, attitude, authenticity — these aren't soft topics. They're the foundation of every financial and life outcome you'll ever have.

Own your money

Understanding how money works — how to keep more of it, how to make it work for you, and how tax strategy fits into a long-term wealth plan — is not optional. It's a responsibility every person owes themselves.

Own your future

Goals, legacy, and the long game. This is about playing a game that outlasts you — building something your kids and your community can benefit from long after you're gone. That's what AHC is. That's what the Ownership Mindset points toward.

From Justin

I'm not teaching from a textbook. I'm teaching from the road.

I went through a divorce. I tried and failed at multiple businesses. I stocked shelves at midnight. I'm 39 years old with three kids and a dream that most people think is crazy. Everything I share in the Ownership Mindset comes from actually living it — the wins, the losses, and everything in between.

This is free because I believe financial and life education should be free. You shouldn't have to pay someone to tell you how to think about your own life. Take what's useful. Leave what isn't. And if it resonates — come own a piece of what we're building.

Why I Asked Adrianne to Join My Board of Directors

September 07, 20263 min read

I recorded a video this week that I almost didn't post.

Not because it was a bad video. Because it wasn't really a video for you — it was a video for one person. Adrianne.

I've been building America's Holding Company for four years. Somewhere in that process I decided I wanted a real Board of Directors — not a decoration, not three names on a slide, but people who actually understand what we're building and are willing to carry some of the weight of it with me. I already had two seats figured out: my parents, and my friend Robert, the two people who've believed in this before there was anything to believe in.

The third seat, I left open for a long time. Not because I couldn't find someone qualified. Because I was waiting for someone I trusted enough to hand real accountability to.

So I turned the camera on, and I asked Adrianne.

Own your mind.

Everything in the Ownership Mindset starts here, and this was no different. Asking someone to help govern the thing you've spent four years building is not a casual invitation. It's a decision about who gets a say in your future. Most people never make that decision on purpose — they let proximity make it for them. I didn't want to do that. I wanted to choose, on camera, out loud, so there was no ambiguity about what I was asking or why.

Own your money.

America's Holding Company is built on one belief: your time is worth something, and the longer you show up, the more you should own of what you're part of. That's true for subscribers earning shares year over year. It's true for a Board of Directors, too. A board isn't a title — it's people who show up for the decisions nobody sees on camera: the hard ones, the slow ones, the ones with no glory in them. If time is the currency, a board seat is one of the highest-trust things I have to offer.

Own your future.

I built America's Holding Company because I don't think I should be the only person this outlasts. A one-man vision dies with the man. A shared one has a chance. So this wasn't just a personal moment — it was a governance decision. Adrianne joining the board means the future of this company is now, in a small but real way, shaped by someone who isn't me. That's the whole point of building something that's supposed to survive past your own effort.

I'm sharing this publicly because "building in public" isn't just a content strategy for me — it's a promise. You don't just get the launches and the wins. You get the actual decisions, including the ones that are personal enough to make a grown man nervous to hit record.

The mindset is free. The ownership is $27 a month. And apparently, so is the occasional board seat, if you're the right person.
